Entertainment Weekly is reporting that The Weinstein Company has announced release dates for several of its upcoming movies including “Wind River”, which will open August 4.
The studio also announced that Wind River, the directorial debut of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water), will open Aug. 4. The thriller follows a rookie FBI agent (Elizabeth Olsen) and local game tracker with a haunted past (Jeremy Renner) as they investigate the murder of a local girl on a remote Native American Reservation.
