In the first major deal prior to the Toronto Intl. Film Festival, Elizabeth Olsen’s romantic thriller “Therese” has been acquired by Roadside Attractions for U.S. distribution.
“Therese” has been set to premiere on Sept. 7 at Toronto. The films also stars Oscar Isaac, Tom Felton and Jessica Lange in the feature film directing debut of Charlie Stratton.
LD Entertainment produced and financed and was planning to distribute prior to the Roadside deal.

Roadside Attractions will oversee the marketing and distribution of the film in collaboration with LD distribution topper David Dinerstein.
